Camping Birkelt

Camping Birkelt is especially kown for its spectacular cupola swimming pool. At hot summer days, the doors slide open so that the children can play outside where the adults relax sunbathing. Whenever the weather changes, the cupola closes to cover the swimmers inside.

Whether swimming lengths, sliding down the Cobri or playing in the water, the pool is an attraction for everyone.

The large swimming pool is 25 x 10 m, descending from 0.90m down to 2m depths. The water temperature is always 28°C. For the smaller children we have outside kids’ pool mesuring 12 x 8 m, descending from 0.35m to 0.55m depth. As from 2008, this pool is heated with solarcollectors, however without stable temperature!
